Jon ManciniTechnology Partner

Technology Partner · Connecticut

Your new tech department.

Technology leadership, systems, and support for Connecticut small businesses that need the capabilities of an IT department without the overhead of one.

The initial consultation is complimentary. Every engagement is quoted in writing before work begins.

When to call

01A system has failed and no one is accountable for it.
02A routine process consumes hours it shouldn't.
03The business has outgrown its spreadsheets and disconnected tools.
04AI is on the agenda and an independent assessment is needed.
05The technology function needs an owner, not a full-time hire.

Any of these warrants a conversation.

Services

One accountable partner for the technology your business runs on.

Eight areas of practice. An engagement can begin with any one of them.

01

Managed IT Support

Workstations, networks and Wi-Fi, printers, and the everyday systems your staff depend on. Issues are resolved, documented, and prevented from recurring.

02

Email and Cloud Workspace

Setup, migration, and administration of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Business email, shared files, calendars, and the access controls behind them.

03

Business Phone Systems

Selection, setup, and management of modern phone service, including number porting, call routing, and staff onboarding.

04

Identity, Access, and Backup

Multi-factor authentication, role-based access, and reliable backups, configured, documented, and verified.

05

Websites

Rebuilds, repairs, and ongoing maintenance for sites that need to represent the business properly and generate inquiries.

06

Custom Software and Automation

Purpose-built applications and automations that replace manual processes, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools.

07

AI Advisory and Implementation

An independent assessment of where AI produces measurable value in your operation, followed by implementation and staff training where it does.

08

Fractional Technology Leadership

Part-time ownership of the technology function, including planning, vendor management, and priorities, for businesses that don't need a full-time director.

Approach

Consultation, written proposal, delivery, ongoing care.

Pricing is fixed in writing before work begins. Changes in scope are quoted before they proceed. There is no hourly meter.

01

Consultation

A conversation about the situation, at no charge. You'll leave it knowing what the problem is and what resolving it involves.

02

Written proposal

Scope, approach, and a fixed price, in one page. If the work isn't worth doing, the proposal says so.

03

Delivery and training

Half at the outset, the balance on completion. Your staff are trained on what was delivered.

04

Ongoing care

A monthly plan covering maintenance, monitoring, backups, and a single accountable contact. Month to month, thirty days' notice.

How does an engagement begin?

With an initial consultation at no charge. You describe the situation, I ask questions, and you receive a written proposal with a fixed price before any work begins.

How is work priced?

Projects are quoted as a fixed price in writing before work starts, half at the outset and the balance on completion. Ongoing support is provided under a monthly care plan. Any change in scope is quoted in writing before it proceeds.

Do you work on site?

Yes, throughout Connecticut, and remotely where that's the faster path.

Do you use AI in your work?

Yes. AI tools are part of daily practice, and every deliverable is personally reviewed before it reaches you. Where AI wouldn't produce measurable value in your operation, you'll be told so directly.

Will our staff be trained?
